Unlike other plastic straw alternatives, such as paper straws or noodles, our drinking straw 2.0 does not lose any of its properties during drinking. On the contrary, it is even dishwasher-safe and recyclable. The drinking straw 2.0 therefore does not become soft and does not dissolve in the drink after a certain time. The properties are almost 1:1 comparable with a classic plastic straw - without being made of petroleum-based plastic.

Yes, because our #IAMPLASTICFREE straws 2.0 are heat-resistant up to 85°C and therefore dishwasher-safe. You can reuse them without any problems.

Yes, like ordinary drinking straws made from petroleum-based plastic, our #IAMPLASTICFREE drinking straws 2.0 have no taste of their own.

No, even if they are made of natural materials, they are not suitable for consumption.

In principle, our #IAMPLSTICFREE straws 2.0 are also suitable for children. However, we recommend using them from the age of 3 and under adult supervision.

Our #IAMPLASTICFREE drinking straws 2.0 do not use petroleum-based plastic. This means that our straws are free from environmentally harmful plastic and cannot produce microplastics during composting.

As our #IAMPLASTICFREE drinking straws 2.0 are indistinguishable from the usual plastic straws at first glance, we firmly believe that the straw must communicate this message. We therefore use the hashtag "#IAMPLASTICFREE" on all our drinking straws 2.0. This makes it clear to the guest in a charming way that this is a plastic-free drinking straw alternative. The print in the form of a hashtag also encourages people to share the drink and straw online via social media channels such as Instagram, Facebook or Pinterest.

In consultation, we generally offer companies the option of co-branding. This means that in addition to our #IAMPLASTICFREE hashtag, a brand logo, slogan or similar can be printed on the straw. In principle, our drinking straws 2.0 are certified for disposal via home composting as well as for industrial composting. Disposal via the "green garbage can" is nevertheless not recommended, as composting plants are not (yet) able to recognize the straws as plastic-free products and many composting plants currently (still) run at too short a composting cycle, meaning that the straws cannot be fully composted. Both of these factors mean that the stalks would have to be sorted out at great expense, which would not be expedient. However, with the increasing use of alternative, sustainable materials, it can be assumed that composting processes and recycling options will soon be developed further. Until then, we recommend disposing of it with residual waste. In this way, the stalks are thermally recycled, but new energy is also obtained from this process.
